Let me clarify – Grace Coddington is leaving American Vogue as the Creative Director, effectively immediately. She will remain in the role of Creative Director at Large, but will be focusing on outside projects.
She has picked up representation by Great Bowery, and it’s clear that she still has a strong future ahead of her in the fashion industry.
From her career as a model, starting at age 17, to now, Grace has existed in the fashion industry as a dominant and influential figure, especially during her reigns at Vogue UK and American Vogue.
The only question is, who will replace her? And will they work just as well with Anna Wintour as Grace did? Is that even possible?
